FREE PAMPHLET ON THE ART AND ETIQUETTE OF FLYERING

One of my oldest and dearest friends and comrades, Krist Krueger, has put together an amazing pamphlet for EIY that is now available at every stop of the EIY Tour! Krist has been working in the independent music scene for nearly two decades. I met him in Madison, WI, when I was in my old band and he was running a label, promoting shows, throwing shows in his own basement, and also starting up his own solo project (Southerly). Since then, he’s relocated to Portland and started several other musical projects — including SNDTRKR, with whom I toured last fall. He also started The Crow Agency (now Self Group Touring), Flyer Team, and Self Group. If there’s anyone I personally know who is more of a workaholic than I am, it’s this guy.

The pamphlet is filled with information, insight, history, and even some legalese on the topic of flyering. It’s a heart-warming read for anyone who understands the delicate art of flyering; and it’s a must-have for anyone who is just learning how to flyer.

If you sign up for the Warped Tour street team at any of the EIY Spring (Into Action) Tour dates, you’ll get this incredibly informational pamphlet for free. We will have extra copies on-hand for anyone who is interested (for free), and we’ll throw one in with every copy of “The EIY Handbook” and “In Every Town: An All Ages Music Manualfesto”, which we are selling at every stop of the tour and (soon) on the website.

    when/how can I get a copy of the EIY handbook & pamphlet if i missed the meet-up? : )

      We are working on putting the Handbook on the site — both an eBook version (to download for free) and the handmade zine version (to order for cheap)!
