4. Music Production, Music Business, Film, Event Planning, Tour Publicist, ect. I am curreclt in the process of getting an AA degree in Digital Media Production and then I will proceed in getting a BA degree in Mass Communication.

3. I would like to start a local Chapter in Salt Lake City, UT or join one.
4. I would like to become an A&R. I am applying at Broadview Entertainment of Arts University hopefully this fall to study and go for my Associates Music & Entertainment Business. Then fallow up with also going for my Associates in Music Production & Engineering.
5. Normally 1-2 a month. This year so far I have attended 4 shows, Vans Warped Tour soon to be my 5th. I went to 1 show in March, 2 in April, and 1 in June.
6. I’m a people person and great at helping others. I can bake as well  I like to be hands on when it comes to all kinds of events. Spread word of anything and everything I am passionate about. I work great with others. Team effort is what I like best. I love drawing so making fliers is also something I like doing. Taking pictures and video to capture moments.Even just audio to help tell others what is happening. Interviewing is something I would like to get a chance at doing someday as well.
7. I work the graveyard shift, but that wouldn’t stop me from trying to go or make a Local EIY Chapter meet ups or events. I’m off Thursdays and Fridays. I work Saturdays-Wednesday from 10pm – 7am.
8. I’m more comfortable with following up, or receiving task assignments and reporting. I would like to learn from others and earn my stripes before I take a leap into delegating tasks.
9. At the moment I don’t have either, since I am barely starting out. But I know of some local bands that I know that need to be heard and recognized by the public.
10. Yes, I have plenty ideas. Simple ones, but ideas non the less. I am fairly new at this. I find this a great starting point into what I would love to achieve in the near future involving my career choice. I feel EIY is the right step in the right direction towards my goal. As the inspiring Instagram picture that Austin Carlile from Of Mice & Men took, “If you want your dreams come true…WAKE UP!!” This is my wake up call. Thank you for this chance to at least try to start to become someone and for taking the time, your time to look over this application. Thank You!

4. I am currently double majoring in Environmental Studies and Communications. My goal is to be a consultant and help companies convert to green sustainable business models that focus on the future. Currently I am student assistant at Santa Clara University’s Center for Science, Technology, and Society which helps social entrepreneurs to launch their business plans worldwide.
5. I’ve attended four shows this month.
6. I love talking to people and spreading the world with a very friendly approach. I think the journey earn it yourself is embarking on is a powerful and I would love to support this movement in any way that I can! I would love to meet new people, pass out flyers, and get the message out there to as many people as possible!

4. I have always tried to figure out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I have been into music my entire life, and helping out anyone who needs it. My good friends are in a band and have been for about 4 years now. I always attent small hometown shows, and seeing them struggle with no money, no where to sleep, shower, nothing to eat or just even hang out on a down day with no show, really upset me. So I started taking in as many bands as I could to help out on tour. So I will be going to school for Music and something to help out to open up houses for bands to go for free.

6. I am always helping handing out flyiers at shows, and not annoying but making people listen to certain bands, clothing companies or websites, ect. And I will be willing to learn about hosting.

4. Thinking about getting going with my career, I don’t have any set career that I want to do. I just want to get myself involved in as many aspects of the music industry as I can. Like I’d love to be able to do some work with audio engineering. I’d also like to do some work with working at a record label or as a concert promoter, promoting bands. As well as working as a tour manager and or working at a concert venue. Currently though, I am trying to get on a few street teams to get that in motion, as well as starting up my own publication.
5. The amount of shows I go to is usually anywhere from 3 to 8. It depends on the month.
6. I would like to say that I am a people person. I am very friendly and easy going, and I’m very good at working well with others. I would say I am a very passionate person and when I want to accompolish something, I dive right into it. I’d love to be able to contribute in anyway possible. I could promote on my website/blog that I’m soon to be creating, as well as passing out flyers or any promotional tool that is necessary. I could even just simply talk to people. I just love being able to help out bands and the music scene in any way possible especially with of these diy approaches. I am starting to get involved in photography and hopefully going to learn how to make and edit videos. So hopefully that can become a useful tool. I am especially hoping to get into interviewing. So I’d love to be able to help out with that.
7. Honestly I don’t have a strict time schedule as of right now. I usually can’t do anything until at least 12 pm in the day, and I can’t usually do anything past 11 pm. I will have to get back to you more on this as I know more. I am hoping to obtain a part time job as well as going to a community college in the fall.
