EIY Watchdogs One of our moral responsibilities as a community that upholds the values of the DIY/EIY philosophy is to protect young people who haven’t developed their personal philosophy yet, and are easy prey for predatory individuals and companies. The “EIY Watchdogs” section of the EIY Forums is where you should post about possible scams by people who call themselves record labels, battle of the bands contests, pay-to-play promoters and venues, promotional companies, management companies, booking agencies, etc. Post the details here WITHOUT names/links, only your location and your own name (if you want), and we will contact you to find out more.
